Cyber security: An in-depth understanding of Cyber bullying

Introduction
The event on Cyber security and Cyber bullying, held on December 12th at Shree Siddhimangal
Secondary School, brought together 21 students, to address the growing concern of
cyberbullying within the school community. The event aimed to raise awareness, provide
knowledge on available resources, and foster a supportive environment for all students.

Event Highlights:
The event started with a Presentation by the team. The presentator delivered a compelling
presentation on the impact of cyberbullying on adolescent mental health, and also offered
practical strategies for students to identify and prevent cyberbullying.
The event then moved on to a short quiz, where the students showed exceptional enthusiasm to
participate and also their new gained knowledge on mental health.
The final part of the event was a more hands-on approach, where the students were provided
with resources and given the prompt ‘ What changes are we making today?’. To this the
students made informational presentations highlighting the reforms they were going to make
that day.

Conclusion:
This event on cybersecurity and cyber bullying, served as a crucial step towards creating a safer
and more inclusive online environment for all students at Shree Siddhimangal Secondary
School. By raising awareness, providing education, and fostering open communication, the
event empowered the school community to take a proactive approach in combating
cyberbullying.
